Skilling Queenslanders for Work

Training and skills development support across a range of functional areas to prepare people for work:

Assisting applicants strengthen their employability by gaining a Certificate I in the fields of either Construction or Conservation and Ecosystem Management.

Applicants are employed by Marist180 as a trainee and undertake practical work on site with community partners.

70% of participants find employment in their chosen field after completion. Ongoing support is provided to trainees to gain and sustain employment.

Individual support is provided to each trainee to develop training plans and assist with barriers to ongoing employment.

Delivered over a 20-week period.
